Using Links


Goal: The goal is to create a program that will serve as a tutorial for learning how to use the Internet in the classroom.


Background: Summary of the whys and hows this scavenger was developed.


Rules of the Road: What you need to know to begin your travels.




District Learner Outcomes: Social Studies: Students will understand the diversity and inter-relationships of people, places and events.


Audience: The audience for this program will be intermediate school age children. It will also be used with staff members who are not versed in using the computer as a teaching tool.


Topic: Cultural diversity is the topic that will be used in our program design.


Time Frame: This program will require three one hour sessions by the students at the computer. Teachers will not need as much time.


Assessment: By successfully completing the scavenger hunt, students will demonstrate an understanding of the use of links on the Internet.
