This document provides valuable information on the effective use of technology in education. It will be used as a planning tool throughout the program to assist in in moving your students toward increasingly engaged learning and in your team's planning efforts.
Use your Information searching skills to find projects that are relevant to the project you are considering. List the 3 projects you encounter that look the best (i.e. that demonstrate Engaged Learning and high technology use). For these 3 projects, document how you found them. Select the best of these, and describe how it demonstrates Engaged Learning" and High Technology use".
Begin to accumulate Internet and other resources related to your project. Continue to design your project. Identify your audience, topic and time frame. Define the learner outcomes.
Write a text page which describes your project and how it will make use of the Internet.
Bring this page (in electronic form) to the next session. You will use it as the text for
your first Web (HTML) document.
