Overview of LInC Facilitators' Course Pages

There are five main pages that you will use to gain information as you plan and offer technology-supported engaged learning staff development in your district. These resources and discussion plans are intended to provide examples you can use and save you time when you offer your course. These pages are briefly described below.

Introduction Home Page

This page contains links to the pages you will need to view when you are getting started in the Facilitators' course. The goals and objectives, facilitator prerequisites, academy end products, course syllabus, and facilitators' feud provide a basic understanding of the course expectations.

Engaged Learning Home Page

Links to strategies for facilitating and clarifying engaged learning for your staff are found on this page. These tools will demonstrate the elements of engaged learning for the learner. Resources in this section include a fishbowl, project discussion, sample proposals, a scenario to use to practice giving feedback, and lesson-by-lesson tips for facilitating engaged learning.

Tools to help you administer your LInC course are linked from this page. The myths and realities, timeline for planning, resources and handouts, tips for facilitating, troubleshooting, and information about server software are here to help you plan your course.

Discussion Home Page

This page contains links to a large collection of discussion lesson plans for the most frequently used topics you might need when facilitating your LInC course. Topics in the following categories are found on this page: introductory topics, engaged learning, staff development, technical skills, issues, and resource materials that provide essential information about how to facilitate such discussions.
